Shahid Online – Hauntology (2024) tells the story of the relationship between two sisters that is formed in the midst of an atmosphere full of mystery and tension. The soft-hearted older sister decides to take her younger sister who is known to be brave on a road trip through their hometown. The goal is not just for a vacation, but to share local horror stories that have haunted the area for years.
At each stop, they visit locations that are considered haunted: an abandoned house that holds a dark secret, a forest where residents often hear strange sounds, to an old bridge that is said to be a place for wandering spirits. The older sister, who is often haunted by fear of the supernatural, hopes that this trip can eliminate her fears. While her fearless younger sister is even more enthusiastic about exploring the mysteries they find.
Over time, the journey turns into an unexpected experience. As they continue their journey, strange events begin to emerge. Mysterious voices are heard at night. Unseen shadows are seen in haunted places. In fact, a feeling of dread begins to haunt both of them at every step.
However, despite the constant fear, the bond between the two brothers grows stronger. The usually timid brother begins to face his fears. While the brave brother begins to realize that some mysteries are better left unsolved.
